Beyond these traditional environments editors can be found in a number of industries and provincial and federal government divisions, including high-tech companies, commerce and banking, health organizations, non-profit agencies, pharmaceuticals--any industry that demands clear communication.
Editing in each of these areas will differ in a number of ways, including author-editor relationships, the editing process, and output.
